PLAYER NOTES:
—G Sun Yue was on the Lakers' active roster for the first time when he moved into Luke Walton's slot after Walton was sent home Sunday night with an illness. Sun was cheered loudly by the home fans and had four points — and four fouls — in 5:14 of action.
—F Vladimir Radmanovic might be underappreciated by many Lakers fans, but he has been a major contributor while the team hasn't been playing as well recently. Radmanovic has made at least four field goals in each of the past five games.
—G Kobe Bryant continues to wear a sleeve over the right knee he hyperextended back in the preseason.
MEDICAL WATCH:
—C Andrew Bynum (foot) has a small bone spur in his right foot, causing pain and inflammation that he is playing through.
—F Luke Walton (illness) was sent home from Staples Center on Sunday night with an upper respiratory infection.

EXTRAORDINARY START FOR THE FORMER CHAMPS!
Los Angeles Lakers basketball has been a dominant team in the last decade and they look to capture another championship. This season they have accomplished a 7-0 start and are currently at league best standing at 13-1. This has been done with the strong play of the former MVP Kobe Bryant and the rest of the starting lineup, Gasol, Bynum, Ariza, Fischer, and the very talented and deep bench. Not only are they the strongest team in the NBA but they are also the number one contender to win the Championship.
